PHANTASY UNDERGROUND™ Operational Policy and Submissions Guidelines

PHANTASY UNDERGROUND™ is a dedication to our love of storytelling through online novels, comics, and other multimedia. As creators, we focus on engaging and interacting with the Daydreamers or Phantasts’ imagination. We understand our roles as harbingers of creativity and strive to create challenging, fun, and thought-provoking content, keeping in mind that PHANTASY UNDERGROUND is a safe place of escapism offered to ALL. As super fans of manga, manhwa, webtoon, web novels, comics, anime, traditional animation, film, we understand our duties to provide diverse media and narratives.

CREATOR OWNED MATERIAL ON PHANTASY UNDERGROUND

Creators will own all the intellectual rights to their creator-owned content showcased on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND.

Prior to being showcased on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND, the review board will need the following:

• a SUBMISSION AGREEMENT from the Creator and team (anyone involved in the process) must be signed and returned. Download here.
• The documentation for WEB NOVEL submission here or WEBTOON submission here must be completed and submitted with SUBMISSION AGREEMENT.

The following conditions apply and are non-negotiable:

• There will be no monetary exchange for either Creator, OMNESTREAM, or PHANTASY UNDERGROUND. The PHANTASY UNDERGROUND is a showcase to help build a fanbase for creator-owned material on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND.
• All Creator-owned content and creators will be treated fairly and equally on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND. Each story will receive a Tales listing, a Tales Homepage, and a Genre listing.
• All creator-owned content must be converted to the PHANTASY UNDERGROUND formats for Web Novels and Webtoons. (materials will be in the onboarding packet.)
• Approved Webtoons will be released in the DigiEpics webtoon space.
• Approved Web novels will be released in the DigiEpics blog space with other web novels.
• In order to get a released on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND at least 50% of the creator-owned content must be delivered upfront. The remaining must be submitted during the halfway point of the 50% received release.
• The PHANTASY UNDERGROUND maintenance team will handle uploads.
  • Creators are expected to adhere to the agreed-upon weekly scheduling.
• Omnestream and Phantasy Underground have the right to promote creator-owned material on social media, expanded media platforms including conventions, events, comic shops, etc, during the time the creator-owned content is on the platform. The promotion must prominently feature the Creators.
• It is expected that the Creator will actively promote their creator-owned content on social media and beyond i.e., comic shops, conventions, events, etc prominently promoting the OMNESTREAM and PHANTASY UNDERGROUND brand.
• Once the agreed-upon creator-owned content has completed its scheduled run-on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND, the creator-owned content will be removed from the website.
  • After which Creator retains the opportunity to enter into a contract with OMNESTREAM for shared publishing rights in DigiEpics+, print, film, and other media formats.
  • Collected materials can be released in the paywall of PHANTAST Membership. “PAID DEALS WITH CREATORS ARE NEGOTIABLE AT THIS PHASE.”
  • Omnestream is granted first bid by Creator to produce for other media formats including but not limited to DigiEpics+, print, film, and other media formats.

ALL CONTENT MUST ABIDE BY GUIDELINES LISTED BELOW:

As a Creator / Creative for PHANTASY UNDERGROUND, you must abide by the following rules and guidelines:

Respect for USERS and OTHER CREATORS on PHANTASY UNDERGROUND rules

Hateful content or comments that promote or encourages violence, or has the primary purpose of inciting hatred towards individuals or groups based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, political orientation, etc. is not allowed.

Copyright guideline

It is expected that none of your creator-owned material content infringes on the copyright, trademark, publicity right of any other party. – any infringements would result in immediate suspense and removal of content and the expulsion from the PHANTASY UNDERGROUND Community.

Examples of prohibited content include:

• Posting, distributing, or transmitting any third party’s copyrighted content without the copyright holder’s consent.
• Using a creative work commercially without proper permission.
• Copying or linking materials from another website or service without permission.
• Infringing any third party’s intellectual property right including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, design rights, patent rights, etc.

Adult themes / Mature content guideline

Content that contains nudity or intended to be lewd is not allowed on the Daydreamer experience. This includes, but is not limited to, full and partial nudity, as well as graphic depictions of sexual acts.

However, The Phantast experience that is marked with the ‘Mature Content Label’ feature can feature mature themes and content, including topics of sexuality. Adult scenes with adult-age characters including full and partial nudity must be approved by the review board before being posted. Graphic depictions of sexual acts are not allowed.

Violent or Graphic Content guideline

PHANTASY UNDERGROUND does not allow depictions of the following violence in art or writing:

• Depiction of sadism, or glorification/promotion of inflicting harm on others.
• Glorification or promotion of self-harm.

Spam and Advertising rules

PHANTASY UNDERGROUND stories are:

• Exclusive to PHANTASY UNDERGROUND until approved story arc is complete or creator/ review sever working arrangements.
• Driving traffic to external websites other than the author’s website or social media is not allowed.
• Creating fake traffic to PHANTASY UNDERGROUND will result in suspension or removal of creator-owned material.

Important message: It is our hope that potential creators for OMNESTREAM and PHANTASY UNDERGROUND already have samples of their works on the web i.e. art portfolio, sequential art, blogs, published or self-published works, etc. If you do not, please establish an online presence and reconnect with us.
